Happy Birthday to ME!

Well, tomorrow is my birthday! I can't believe I'm one already. We had my birthday party last Sunday so that my aunt, uncle, and cousins from Houston could attend. It was so much fun. I got lots of good gifts. My favorite so far are the Radio Flyer and the sled my grandparents gave me. Thank you G-ma and G-pa Meyers. It was so nice of you. There were lots of people at my party, but of course all family plus my girlfriend Cali and her brother Ryan Bach. Thank you all for the nice gifts. I love them all. Mommy and daddy have to pick up everyday about 5 times because I like to dump everything out and I am not always good about picking up. I try to help, but mommy and daddy are much faster at cleaning up. My favorite thing to do now is pull the pots and pans out of the drawers. Tonight I put one of the pots on my head and then fell so I am definitely going to have a black eye in the morning. As for Christmas, we had three different days that we opened gifts. Man, was I tired. Thank you everyone for the nice Christmas presents. Santa brought me sippy cups and a big block toy. I like to tip over the block toy rather than play with it. Mommy has decided to leave it tipped over. I love the holidays just like my mommy. Besides all the craziness of the holidays, mommy and daddy decided it was about time that I slept in my crib all night instead of in their bed. I don't like that much. I am currently upstairs crying for her to come get me, but she just keeps coming up and saying she loves me and leaving the room. I don't get it! I just want her to hold me. Last night, mommy and daddy had friends over so when I cried in my bed it was a little easier. Now, mommy is home by herself and it is much more difficult. Mommy feels so guilty, but she knows that time will pass and it will be easier in the long run. Mommy and daddy said they had a good night sleep last night because I slept in my bed until 5:30 and then I slept until 9:00 with my parents. I love them so much and just want to be close to them. Besides, I'm not sure they understand that I just hate being lonely in my crib. On Monday I go to the Dr. for my one year check-up. Mommy had to take me last Monday because I had a double ear infection. They also put me on Singular for 7 days to see if it would clear my gunk up. Mommy thinks that I feel better, but I guess we will see on Monday. Mommy is also going to discuss tubes on Monday with the Dr. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and in case I don't make it back before New Years, Have a Happy New Year! I am going to stay with my cousins, Hannah and Sophie. I can't wait! Talk to you soon!

Busy Weekend!

Sorry it has been so long since my mommy has posted. We have been busy as you can see. This past weekend I had a babysitter for the 2nd time ever other than grandparents. My cousin, Lindsey and her friend came and stayed at my house on Friday night. On Saturday mommy and daddy took me to Malia Paben's birthday party at PE 101. I loved the foam pit. I ran around and even jumped, well fell in the pit. I want to go back there soon. On Saturday night, mommy and daddy took me to have cocoa with Santa at the Bormans, I mean Scotts' House. I loved Santa. He was so nice to me. He brought me a new book. I love it. I think he is going to bring me lots of new things for Chrismas. I managed to pull the Chrismas Tree over this past week. Mommy was home by herself and she was upset. Now that she looks back it was pretty funny because I took off running as soon as I pulled it over. Mommy had to pick everything up and now the tree is a little off center. Oh well, she still loves me. I am officially scared of the pipes in my house. When my dishwasher runs my pipes are kind of loud and I take off for mommy. Mommy thinks it is funny, but I don't. Mommy and daddy are attempting to let me sleep in my bed all night, but we'll see how that goes. I know I can fool them. They will be too tired and put me in their bed. We got new blinds in our house today and they look so nice. Of course I wanted to pull on them right away. I am having my birthday party a little early. It is this Sunday so that my aunt Cathy and Uncle Scott can come. Colin and Jackson will be back also for the party. I am so excited. Hope all is well with everyone. Have a Merry Chrismas!

I am such a lucky kid!

These pictures were actually taken in October when my aunt Cathy was in town. I am such a happy boy for the most part. I love making noise, especially by putting my face into my bucket and screaming. My mommy says it echos, I just like the sound. I think it drives mommy and daddy crazy sometimes, but oh well. I also love to play with chords and the Christmas tree. My mommy loves Christmas and forced daddy to put up the tree this weekend. He did it, and I love it. I try to get all the ornaments off of it, but mommy put them a little too high. I promise, I will get a few and try to eat them or at least shake all the needles off of the fake tree by the time Christmas is over. I can't wait. I got to see snow this weekend. It was awesome to wake up with no blinds and see the white stuff. Mommy and daddy didn't take me outside because it was cold, but it was beautiful. Yesterday, I went and saw Santa Claus at the Bass Pro Shop. Santa kept waving at me making his bells ring so I climbed onto his lap and took a picture with him. I didn't even cry. Mommy and Daddy then took me around to see the train sets and of course daddy let me sit on a couple 4-wheelers that he thinks he is going to buy. Mommy always says when we win a million dollars daddy can have all that fun stuff. I wonder when the million will come because those 4-wheelers look like a lot of fun. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We went to g-ma and g-pa Meyers' house and ate lots of turkey. I loved the turkey and corn, but forget those mashed potatoes. I spit those right out. After G-ma Meyers' we went home and took a nap. Then we went to my g-ma and g-pa Mauer's house and ate more turkey. I again loved everything, but the mashed potatoes. I can't see why anyone would eat those. Mommy keeps telling me she has to go back to work tomorrow, but only for 3 weeks and then she has 2 weeks off. (Shayne, if you are reading this blog, be nice to mommy about her time off.) I can't wait for mommy and daddy to have time off again. This was such a fun 5 days off with my mommy and daddy! Have a great week!

I CAN WALK!!!!!

Well, I did have something wrong last week, a double ear infection. I was put on an antibiotic for 10 days and tomorrow is my last day. I still have a horrible cough and am not sleeping very well for mommy and daddy. Mommy wishes I would just get over all this junk and be happy. As of last week, I am officially walking. My aunt Kris says I am to short to be walking, but what does she know, I can do it. I love to walk, but boy I am keeping mommy and daddy on their toes. I like to do circles or what mommy calls laps. I start in the living room, go through the hallway, then through the kitchen, and back to the living room. I do this several times a day. I also try to climb underneath the gate, but I can't fit. I have found one area I can climb under. Mommy thought she blocked me from getting her glasses, but boy I climb right under that portable crib and go for the good stuff sitting by mommy's side of the bed. She gets so frustrated because now there is no way to stop me from going over there. Ha! I don't have any new pictures to upload, but I thought the video was much more exciting. I hope you all enjoy. Last weekend daddy cooked pancakes, which I have had before, but not with syrup. This time, mommy let me have syrup. I loved the pancakes. They were awesome. Thanks daddy! My new favorite foods are grilled cheese (just like my parents), chicken noodle soup (Dora, the Explorer- just so I can pick up the noodles), Ravioli (chicken and carrot--mommy says Yuck!), and I love to drink water. Mommy keeps trying to give me what you people call milk, but come on, it is awful. I spit it out everytime I drink it unless mommy tricks me and mixes it with my formula. She is such a trickster. I hope all is well with everyone. Talk to you soon.

I love being outside!!!

Sorry mommy has not updated the blog recently. She has been really busy with work and taken care of me and daddy. I have been sick with a cold or whatever for 3 weeks. I think mommy is going to have to take me in again to have my ears checked. She had a neighbor check my ears that is an audiologist and they were red so I'm sure the Dr. will want to see me tomorrow. UGGG! Mommy is so sick of this and wants me to cut my teeth and feel better. My girlfriend, Cali, got diagnosed with Croup today so hopefully I don't come down with that since I was kissing all over her this past weekend. I have taken a couple of steps at my house on my own, but of course more steps have been taken at daycare. I am ready to go and boy are mommy and daddy in trouble when I start walking. I still love to go outside even when I don't feel well. This picture was taken at my cousin Lindsay's birthday party this weekend. I enjoyed being outside, including eating and playing in the grass. I hope all is well with everyone. Talk to you soon and pray that I get better soon!!!!

I love my family!!!!

My aunt Cathy and cousin Jackson came back to Iowa this weekend. We had so much fun. The two pictures of me are at my other cousin, Lindsay's soccer game. My aunt Cathy and Kim loved all over me. I loved hanging out in the grass and eating keys, which mommy didn't like, but I did it anyway. Lately, I chew on everything, including mommy and daddy's coffee table. They have bite marks everywhere. Mommy caught me biting on one of the tables Tim built. She only caught me because I cried. That table is a little harder to bite into than the coffee table. I would prefer to chew on tables than the chew toys mommy offers me. Mommy says I have been a little cranky. She even took me to the Dr. last week because she thought I had an ear infection. She was wrong, but I am still taking cold medicine that the Dr. prescribed. I am sleeping now, but not for long so mommy is going to be short and sweet. Have a great week and talk to you soon.

I am exactly what my shirt says---- A Wild Child!!!!

Sorry that it has been a couple weeks, but we have been so busy. Daddy has been traveling a lot lately and I have been crabby and not sleeping the best because I have another tooth, my front one, coming in. This past weekend, I had a sleep over at my aunt Amy's house. I got to hang out with Sophie and Hannah all night. It was so fun. I even go to snuggle with Amy and Sophie. My aunt is having another girl. They found out for sure last week that Hannah and Sophie are going to have another girl in their family. I am used to having girls in the family so I'm excited to pick on her. Ha! Obviously I am into everything. According to all of the people that know me, including mommy and daddy, I am BUSY! I climb on everything, including the steps. Not much anymore because mommy got sick of chasing me and put a gate up. I now know how to open the cupboards and pull the drawers open. I can't wait tell I figure out how to eat the stuff in the cabinets. Yummy! This weekend I also went to a place called Tiny Town in Gretna. There were lots of kids there for Ryan Bach's birthday party. It was fun, but I wanted to play in the sand and eat it. Thanks Jill Bach for putting me down and letting me try it. Just kidding! Last weekend, Daddy was giving me a bath and I fell and cut my eye open. I didn't even cry until the water touched it. I think it made daddy and I realize that I really did cut my eye open and it was bleeding. No stitches, just a good clean cut. It is already healed and looks great. I hope all is well with everyone and I will talk to you soon.

I love my Tonka Truck!

I stayed at g-ma and g-pa Meyers' house this past weekend because my mommy had her graduation party. I got to have a slumber party with my cousins, Sophie and Hannah. G-ma said I was good, but I think she would say that no matter what. I love the new Tonka Truck that G-ma and G-pa have. I even rode on the truck with Sophie. I went to the Dr. last week for my 9 month check-up. I weighed 20 lbs 9 oz (50%), 75% for height, and my little head (doesn't look little to mommy and daddy) is in the 30%. The dr. said I was healthy and happy. Today mommy woke up to me screaming because I fell off the bed. Boy was mommy and daddy scared. I was my normal self, well I am teething, but as normal as can be so mommy and daddy are not as worried now. My mommy's party went very well on Saturday. She said there were more than 50 people that showed up. Mommy and daddy want me to tell everyone thank you for coming. I also enjoyed seeing the people that I saw. I even got to meet Brody. I wanted to sit on him or maybe even eat him. Mommy would not let me get close enough. I hope all is well with everyone and I will talk to you soon.

I give wet sloppy kisses!!!!!

I have learned how to give wet kisses. Not always on demand. However, grandpa Meyers gets me to do it on demand, but gets spit all over him. He loves it! Mommy put me in my Harley shirt this past weekend that Aunt Kathie and Uncle Mick bought me when I was born. The other picture of me was taken in March with the shirt on. In March it looked like a dress. Now, it fits perfect! Thanks Aunt Kathie and Uncle Mickey! I am on the move everyday. I really want to walk, but I have not figured that out quite yet. Soon though. Daddy is amazed at how fast I can crawl and walk along the couch. I am eating like a pig still and growing everyday. I now can eat a little "big people" food, cereal bars, puffs without choking (most of the time), and I have even had some of Grandma Meyers' grilled cheese. I have not found anything I don't like. Mommy says it is becoming a little more difficult to feed me because I make noises when food is in my mouth and I get it all over. Mommy has threatened to stop feeding me so I will quit. I do stop at some point so that I can eat all my dinner without mommy getting her shirt completely covered in whatever it is I am having for dinner. I go to the Dr. this week for my 9 month check-up. Mommy is also going to the Dr. for her never ending battle with her bladder. Hopefully they find out what all the problem is. I get to stay at G-ma and G-pa Meyers' house on Saturday night because my daddy is throwing mommy a graduation party. Yeah mommy! I will be at the party for a short time before I go to g-ma and g-pas so hopefully I will see some of you. Take care and talk to you soon.

My new monkey suit!!!!

Last weekend my g-ma Mauer bought me some new blocks and I love to play with them. Mommy takes them everywhere in the house to keep me entertained. However, I am more entertained in the bathroom with a can of moose or contact solution because they roll and I chase them. Mommy thinks it is hilarious. My mommy and daddy bought my Halloween costume this weekend. They always call me a monkey so the costume is very fitting. Mommy had to try it on at g-ma and g-pa Meyers' yesterday and I was not real thrilled about it. I actually cried. Mommy just prays that I do not grow a whole lot more before Halloween so that I can still fit into my monkey suit. It even has a banana sticking out of the pocket. It is so cute. Hopefuylly by Halloween I will like it, otherwise this is one of the only pictures that we have of my first Halloween (in September). Mommy and I hung out all last week why daddy traveled for work. Mommy does not know how single mommies do it. She was very busy!!!! This weekend I ran errands with mommy and daddy. I swear they went everywhere! I was exhausted by the time I got home. On Sunday mommy and aunt Thu went shopping. They did not find a darn thing. Well, we did find a couple of cute t-shirts that said funny things like "My Aunt Rocks." I think Thu would have bought it, but they didn't have my size. She was so excited about the t-shirt. I hope all is well with everyone. Welcome to the world Brody Patrick Pellett. Hope your mommy and daddy are treating you well. Can't wait to see you again!

I love bath time.

So last weekend I got to take a bath with my girlfriend, Cali Bach, who is beside me. Her hair looks a bit crazy in the tub, but she is still my girlfriend. I am growing so much I had to have all new clothes so this weekend, mommy, g-ma Mauer, and I went to the consignment store and to Younkers and found lots of good things. I basically got a whole new wardrobe. My daddy put me on the scale today and he said that I weighed close to 22 pounds. Wow, now wonder why mommy always says her arms hurt. Mommy and daddy have been taking me for walks/run outside every weekend so mommy can get her steps in. For those of you who know the step thing, mommy hit 20,000 steps on Saturday and she was pretty excited. I love the jogger and I usually fall asleep, but I still enjoy it. I am waking up right now so mommy has to quit blogging. Hope all is well with everyone.
P. S. By the end of the week Baby P will be born!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!

My first boat ride and my first two teeth!

So Labor Day Weekend was pretty fun. I got to show off my two teeth (left picture) and I got to go for my first boat ride. Of course daddy thought I looked like a gymnast. I am in Hannah and Sophie's old life jacket suit. Mommy thought it was pretty funny. I loved the boat ride and watching daddy do the air chair. However, I did not like it when the boat took off and it was really loud. As soon as my mommy took me to the front of the boat I fell asleep. I think all in all it was pretty fun and I could manage to do that again. Mommy did learn that swim diapers only work in water. FYI to all you mothers if you want pee all over you, put your son or daughter in a swim diaper and then do not put them in water. You will have pee ALL OVER YOU. I guess mommy was under the impression that the swim diapers do the same thing as real diapers. NOPE, they only stop the poop. I can't believe "uncle Brad" knew that and my mommy and daddy did not. Besides the boat ride and me showing off my teeth, I got to take a bath with my girlfriend Cali Bach. Boy her mommy fills the bath tub with a lot more water than my mommy. I also got to have a sleep over at G-ma and G-pa Meyers' with my cousins Hannah and Sophie. Grandma says I was good, but I managed to wake Sophie up. Hannah slept right through me crying. She better get use to a baby crying and waking them up because in February they will have a new brother or sister. I hope all is well with everyone.

I am officially into everything!

Since last week, I am officially into everything. I love to eat shoes, crawl on the tile and stand up at the front door, climb the steps, and my favorite thing to do is to climb under the coffee table and get the cords to the monitor. It drives mommy crazy because she would have to have at least 5 different gates to stop me. In the last 2 days I have had 4 face plants onto the tile or coffee table. I guess I must be strong because I cry, but I get back up and do it all over again. I now have one black and blue bruise on my head, but I should have 3 or 4. My aunt Amy did not find out what the baby was last week because the bambino was not cooperative. We have to wait 3 more weeks to find out what the baby is. I hope all is well with everyone. Thanks for checking in with us.

I got new clothes for dirt cheap! They are so cute huh?

So my mommy and daddy went around looking for a new grill this weekend because their old one didn't survive the 3rd and hopefully final move. My mommy walked into Kmart of all places and happened to run into a rack full of clothes. Needless to say mommy had never bought anything from Kmart for me, but boy did she score. Everything on the rack was marked down plus 40% off. The outfit that I have on in this picture is from Kmart and she got me a couple of outfits for next year and a couple of other shirts, shorts, and she even got herself 2 tank tops (68 cents a piece). Mommy was so proud because she only spent $17. Nice! Mommy wanted to share the information about Kfart incase any of you actually have one close and want to buy your clothes for your kids at Kmart. All is well here at the new house. I am eating like a mad person (as you can see in the picture), except for today at daycare. I am no longer army crawling, just crawling EVERYWHERE! I am pulling myself up on things, including the bath tub which scares mommy and daddy. I love playing in the bath and having mommy pour water over my head. I usually eat the wash cloth before mommy uses it. She doesn't really like me doing that, but I want to suck the water out of it. I went to the Mauer family reunion with Grandma and Grandpa Mauer this past weekend and boy did I have fun. Mommy got my room all organized with my clothes in drawers for the first time ever. Mommy loves it organized, but daddy will probably be confused when he dresses me because he does not know where anything is. Mommy will have to explain her organization. I hope all is well with everyone. Jennifer, Trisha, and Julie, I know you guys read the blog. Thanks!

I love my new car seat, but mine is more boyish than this!

So this picture was taken in Houston so NO Sophie this is not Drew's new car seat. You are right, it is a little girlish. This was my sister Cathy's nanny's car seat that she let us borrow for the whole time we were in Houston. Thanks Naomi and Kaitlyn. Well, the first week back was not so bad, but I miss hanging out with Drew all day. I feel like I am missing out on daily activities that he does. He is crawling everywhere and according to the daycare providers, grandparents and great grandma, Drew is a "busy boy." I'm sure that does not surprise anyone considering who his parents are. Ha! He is into everything, including the cords that hang from our wall. We are constantly moving him away from things he should not be in. However, Drew has learned that he can't roll over on the tile and hardwood very easily. My sister Cathy told me that he would learn fast and boy did he. Kids know where they should and should not be. He very carefully rolls whenever he is on the tile or hardwood floors. It is kind of funny to see him do this because no where else in the entire house does he roll very slowly. Drew now has 2 teeth and is starting to eat little munchies like what I call the "meltaways." You put them in his mouth and they pretty much melt. He still prefers food over the "meltaways." Drew is also going to have a new cousin. We will hopefully find out if aunt Amy is going to have a boy or girl on August 20th. I'm sure Drew would love to have a little boy around, but who knows. Congrats Amy, Josh, Hannah, and Sopie. I can't wait to have another little one around. They are so much fun. Hope all is well with everyone and I will talk to you soon. Oh, Congratulations also to Jennifer Mytty. Jennifer, I'm not sure if anyone else actually reads this, but congrats!

I think I am starting to look like uncle Brian!

I love this picture of Drew. It reminds me of one of my little brothers' baby pictures. He is so cute isn't he? Drew is cutting his second tooth now and boy is he grouchy. He kept us up ALL night for the first time because he was fussy and didn't feel good. I feel bad for him, but I am doing everything I can to help him feel better. We are enjoying our last week together. We have nobody around to hang out with during the week because everyone is on vacation. My family (Kris, Mom, and all the girls) is in Minnesota. I decided it was way too far for us to go and I didn't want to drive that far. Grandma and Grandpa Meyers are on vacation also. They left for Colorado the other day. We are kind of bored, but then again Drew has been very crabby. We have had some visitors this week come over to the new house. Jill Batman and Erin Hochstein came over to check out our new house and see Drew. Of course he was good as gold while they were here. Hope all is well with everyone. I have to go feed Drew some food.

I finally got Baptized!

So my mommy and daddy finally got me baptized this past weekend. I loved the white outfit, but decided to throw up on it as soon as my parents put it on me. I also threw up during the ceremony. I thought it was pretty amusing to watch my parents try to clean up the church floor. Other than the throwing up I loved the water and the candle burning was my favorite. I had so many people come and watch me and come to my house afterwards for cake. Thanks for coming! This week mommy and I have been lazy. We have went to the pool, shopping, and just lounged around. Mommy has to go back to work on the 11th and she is not looking forward to it. I know I will miss her, but I get to see my grandma and grandpa everyday. Yeah! Hope all is well with everyone. Talk to you soon.

I love my daddy so much!!!!!

Well, we are back from Houston and going a little crazy with all the stress. At least I am. Drew and I returned home yesterday and Andrew returned last Sunday. We had a great time in Houston with my sister, Scott, and Jackson. Drew loves Jackson so much. He would wait for him to come through our bedroom door every morning. It was so cute. Drew was great on the plane, thanks to the benedryl. It works wonders for Drew. We officially moved into our house on July 5th and left July 9th. I am throwing a baby shower for Trisha on Saturday and Drew gets baptized on Sunday. Wow, what a week huh? Thanks to everyone who is pitching in for the shower and baptism. If you are family members reading this the baptism is at 1 at my church in CB and we are doing cake and appetizers afterwards at my house. You do not have to come to the church if you do not want to. For those of you who are not family, keep your fingers crossed everything goes okay. Drew is cutting his first tooth on top of everything else. He has been pretty good, but a little fussy. Andrew finally got to go swimming with him on vacation. Drew loved to get into the water with his daddy. As the picture shows above, Drew continues to look like his daddy and he loves to say dadadadada (see video). I have a lot to do so I have to go. Hope all is well with everyone. Talk to you soon.

I'm 6 months Old!

I am now 6 months old. I went to the Dr. today and I weighed 17 lbs and 11 oz., which is in the 60th percentile. I am in the 75% for height and my head is still at the 30%. I had to get 3 shots and drink one today. They hurt and I screamed really loud. Mommy even cried this time because she felt bad for me. This picture is to show everyone that I am catching up with my cousin Hallie. She will be 2 in October. Mommy and Daddy closed on the house today and we will probably be moving stuff in slowly throughout the week. As for the official move in date, probable mommy and daddy's anniversary, July 5th. hope all is well with everyone.

Summer is so busy-----Sorry!

Sorry it has been so long since we posted. We have been awful busy this summer. Mommy has to finish her portfolio and then she is done with graduate school. She will actually graduate in August, but is done with classes. Daddy has been so busy with the house. We are scheduled to close on Tuesday, July 1st and we still need to finish the grouting, driveway, and the deck. Hopefully, we will not see rain the rest of the week. I am getting so big. I weigh almost 17 pounds according to mommy's scale, but I go to the Dr. on Monday for my 6 month check so I will know for sure then. I am a wiggle worm and love to bounce in my Jumperoo, as you can tell in the video. I am rolling all over the place. I usually end up finding the smallest hole to roll into and then lick the couch or table. It is really gross, or at least that is what mommy thinks. Don't you love my first baseball hat? I think it makes me look cool! Thanks Kimmy! Mommy still takes me to the pool almost everyday. I love to sit in the water and chill in crab man. I occasionally take a nap in the raft, but I really do not like to take naps. I like to sleep in the car, shopping with mommy, and at night, but otherwise I do not want to miss out on anything. Who needs naps anyway? I hope al is well with everyone and we will talk to you soon.

I have the best life!

It has been a couple of weeks so I am sorry, but mommy has been busy taking me to the pool and playing with me. The first picture is the first day at the pool and mommy thought the water was a bit cold so she didn't bring my crab man. I loved the water and didn't care if the water was freezing or not. The next day mommy took what she calls the "crab man" to the pool and she put me in with my feet in first. However, I liked the raft a lot better when I was lounging like the picture. I guess I look like my mommy and daddy at the pool except I think they would probably have a drink instead of the binky. Ha! I am rolling over now but once I get to my stomach I get mad and fuss a little so somebody will come roll me back over. Mommy spends a lot of time rolling me back and forth. My aunt Cathy and cousin Jackson are coming into town this weekend and I can't wait. I will have to show them what we do at the pool all day! My great grandma's b-day is this weekend so hopefully we get to go visit her. I can't wait until I get old enough to eat her wonderful peanut butter cookies that mommy raved about last weekend. As for our house..... we are still not in it. Mommy and daddy say it should be right around the first of July when we close. Mommy and daddy want to be moved in that weekend if possible so that we don't have to worry about our traveling in July. Mommy and I are going to Texas for 2 weeks and daddy is coming for a week and they would be concerned about being here together to sign the paperwork. Everyday daddy or mommy are going over to the house to check on the progress. A lot of times I sit in the car with one of them while the other looks because I can't go in the house because of the smell of paint and stain. I can't wait to have my own room and I know mommy and daddy can't wait to be on their own again. Sorry it took us so long to write, but mommy was busy playing with me. Talk to you soon.

I am getting so big!

Well, it has been awhile since Mommy updated the blog, but we have been busy! Last week I was sick with what they doctor called Roseola, which is a fever for a couple of days and ends in a rash. I also had some fluid in both my ears. The Dr. told mommy to watch for a fever and call so they could treat it if they needed to. So far so good! Mommy also started her last grad class on Saturday so she is going to be busy for the next 4 weeks, but then she is done. She will have her masters and never have to go back to school again. YEAH! Mommy keeps telling me this is my last week at daycare because school is out. I can't wait to hang out with mommy and my cousins all summer at the pool. I'm sure grandma, aunt Amy, great-grandma Pete, and grandpa will be sad not to see me everyday, but they will have to come watch me at the pool. I'm pretty sure I will love the water since I love the bath. I started eating cereal, oatmeal, and my favorite, sweet potatoes. I don't care much for oatmeal, but my cousin Sophie keeps telling me that it is so yummy and I need to eat it. I am giggling a lot at whatever you say or do to me. I can also roll, occasionally, from front to back, but as for the back to front, I have only done that once. Nobody was even paying attention. Mommy came into check on me because I got quiet and I was stuck on my belly. Mommy and the family are just waiting to see me do it again. I went to my aunt Thu and uncle Brian's tonight and Thu danced with me. I loved it. My uncle Brian held me and I don't think I even spit up on him. I hope all is well with everyone else, but I am asleep and mommy needs to do some homework. Talk to you soon.

We're Back----Sorry!!!!

Well, it was a busy week last week and that is why there was no post. Andrew was traveling Tuesday-Thursday and then we left to go go to the Kentucky Derby. Drew stayed with G-ma and G-pa Meyers and according to them he was great. Andrew and I had so much fun. We went there on Friday morning and met up with Dave Vannier and his wife Becca, who are expecting a baby in August. On Saturday morning we ate a big breakfast and headed to the track. We got there at the tail end of the first race. We stayed all day long, had many drinks, and even saw some stars. This is the best people watching place on earth. I will have to say if anyone ever gets the chance to go, GO. It is worth every penny that is spent. If you look at our picture above, you can see we were right on the railing and that is actually where our seats were. Not only on the railing, but the first turn of the race. Again, this is one of the most amazing events to go to, so if you get the chance, go. As for Drew, he is doing great. He is really starting to get a personality. I think the above pictures shows how much he still looks like his dad. I wonder when he will start looking like me? I still think he resembles his uncle Brian a little. He is eating cereal and making a mess every night before he goes to bed, but it is so fun to watch him. He is so entertaining now. Drew has not rolled over yet, but man he is ready to go at anytime. I'm sure it will be someday when I'm at work. We have 2 weeks of school left (YEAH) and hopefully just about 6 weeks or so on our house. In 2 weeks, we will start going to Cabana everyday, so if anyone wants to join us, we will have a punch card so let me know. Hope all is well with everyone.

The weather is finally nice!

Well, here are my new sunglasses that Grandma Meyers bought me. They are still a little big, but they make me look COOL! I also have my new jacket on that grandma Meyers gave me for Easter. It is still a little big, but I will grow into it. Speaking of growing, my grandma Mauer thinks I get bigger everyday. She can't wait for me to go to my Dr.'s appointment on Friday just to see what I weigh. According to mommy's scale last week, I weighed 14.5 pounds, but who knows if that is right or not. The weather if finally nice in CB. Thank goodness! My cousin Sophie has been driving me around at daycare in my new little stroller. I love being outside or just being pushed inside the daycare. Either way, I can fall asleep. Today mommy and daddy grilled out and I sat outside in my chair. With all the fresh air I fell asleep. Mommy and daddy actually got to eat a meal together without me crying or wanting attention. I think they enjoyed themselves. Daddy came home tonight and said that the steps are almost finished at our new house. Mommy plans on going out there sometime this week to take pictures. My mommy and daddy are going to the Kentucky Derby next weekend so I am staying with Grandma and Grandpa Meyers all weekend. Hopefully I behave for them. Even if I'm naughty I'm pretty sure they will not tell my mommy and daddy. I hope all is well with everyone! Talk to you soon.

Nebraska????????

I look so cute in the Nebraska outfit my aunt Kimmy gave me, but Nebraska? I am getting so big. My mommy weighed me with Grandma the other day and I weighed 14.5 pounds. I am over my ear infection. Yeah! I have been going to my aunt Katie and Tony's almost every weekend. I love them so much. Aunt Katie spoils me! I got my first pair of sunglasses this week. Thanks Grandma Meyers! I will send pictures soon of me in my glasses. My mommy only has a couple more weeks of school and then we will be going to the pool everyday. I can't wait to go play in the water. If anybody wants to join us at the pool, let my mommy know. We will be there EVERYDAY, if it is up to my mommy. Our house is coming along. Tim and the rest of the crew of Liberty Homes are working like mad on the cabinets. They look so good! Mommy and Daddy say it will probably be sometime in June. I hope all is well with everyone. Talk to you soon.

Look at my beautiful smile!!!!

Mommy has been very good about updating the last couple of weeks. Yeah! On Friday I got to hang out with my future God Parents, Katie and Tony. Max, their dog got a good lick at my face when I was sleeping at their house. Mommy thought it was yucky, but I didn't even wake up. Max loves me. He missed me on Saturday when mommy and daddy went over to their house to watch the basketball games. I stayed overnight at Grandma and Grandpa Meyers' house. I got to stay up until 10 at their house. I like staying there! We went to breakfast this morning and then daddy and I slept for a long time in the afternoon while mommy ran some errands. Mommy even had to wake me up so I would go to sleep in my big bed on time. I officially moved into the pack n' play tonight. I look so small in it and I can actually move around a little, which scares mommy. I also got a new toy for the tub. In the picture above I am sitting it. Daddy calls it my "lawn chair." I can sit and stare while I am in the tub. I love it. I hope all is well with everyone. Talk to you soon.

I love my outfit! Thanks Aunt Cathy!

Well, last week mommy was going through some clothes and realized that this outfit my aunt Cathy gave me was not 3-6 months, it was 0-3 months. I got to wear it only one time, but boy did I look cute. I had to go see Dr. Jones yesterday with Grandma Mauer because I have been very fussy and had a low fever. The Dr. told grandma that I have my first ear infection. I am on an antibiotic and I think I finally broke the fever last night. Yeah! I am still a little fussy because I do not want to sleep, but I need to. Daddy was traveling yesterday and comes home tonight. Sometime in the next couple of days mommy and daddy are going to put me in a bigger bed. I guess I am outgrowing the bassinet. My pack n' play is waiting for me, but mommy just has not put me in it yet. I'm not sure why. It is so big compared to my bassinett, but I'm sure I will love rolling around in it the next couple of months until I get my big crib in our new house. That will be harder for mommy and daddy because I will actually be in my own room by then also. Anyway, hope all is well and I will talk to you soon.

Our house is coming along!

Well this week mommy decided to not only post a picture of me, but she thought some of you might want to see the progress on the house. If not, sorry, you have to look. Ha! All of the siding is done on our house and they are starting to do the cabinets tomorrow. Mommy and daddy went over to the house on Sunday (today) to go over the cabinets with Tim. Man, he is a smart guy! Thanks Brandi for watching me and I am so sorry I was fussy. My mommy wanted to show off one of my new bibs that Grandma Meyers, AKA Easter Bunny, got me. Aren't they cute? I got 2 that say my real name and two that say Peetee. I guess I will always be Peetee. We have had a busy weekend. On Friday we went to Aunt Katie and Uncle Tony's new house and mommy had a lot of fun. She even got to sneak away to her friends' house. On Saturday we went to Dawn and Justin's house and we even stayed over. I had a hard time going to bed, but once I went down, mommy and daddy were able to enjoy themselves. Today, I had a little bit of a temperature, which mommy thinks is from me getting a tooth. I guess time will tell. I hope all is well with everyone and I will talk to you soon.
Love,
Drew (AKA Peetee)

My uncle Tony finally held me!

My mommy has been so busy so she has not updated the blog for over a week. Sorry! I am getting bigger each day. My new thing is to spit up everywhere, including on mommy and daddy. I have to wear a bib all the time. Good thing the Easter bunny came to Grandma and Grandpa Meyers' house. I got 4 new bibs. Two of them say Peetee and the other two say Drew. My mommy loves them, especially the Peetee ones. Last week, I got my first and hopefully last (right) eye infection. I could barely open my eye. Mommy got me some drops from the Dr. and I am better. Yeah! Besides spitting up, I have decided that I really like T.V., especially basketball. On Friday mommy and grandma went to the car dealership and I watched the basketball game with grandma while mommy got a new car. On Saturday we went and helped uncle Tony and aunt Katie move into their new house. My uncle Tony finally held me and as you can see in the picture above, we were watching basketball. I have been hanging out with mommy since Thursday and I don't have to go back to daycare until Tuesday. Not that it is that bad since I hang out with Grandma, Great Grandma, and aunt Amy all day. Well enough about me.
Daddy says they are getting more stuff done on the house each day. Mommy doesn't have any updated pictures, but the siding is almost done, the wood floor is in, and Tim is going to start building cabinets this week. We are getting closer to moving into our house. Yeah! Hopefully all is well with everyone. Hope you had a great Easter! Talk to you soon.

Don't I look good in my robe?

My mommy weighed me yesterday and I weighed 13.5 pounds. I had a pretty full diaper and she weighed me at night. What was she thinking? This week, mommy took me for a walk/run outside in grandma and grandpa's neighborhood two days in a row. It was so nice outside. At daycare, grandma made me giggle outloud. My cousin Sophie and Hannah are finally back from their cruise so Sophie is spoiling me again. She told great grandma that only aunts, uncles, grandmas, and grandpas are the only ones that can hold and take care of me. I guess I am pretty spoiled!

Daddy keeps giving mommy updates on the house. She really has not had a chance to get out there for awhile so I think we are all going to check out the house this weekend. Daddy says the hardwood floors were put in last week and that the house is coming along. I am excited to move into my new house and I know mommy and daddy are also. Hope all is well with everyone. By the way, mommy is officially old. She turned 30 on March 11th.

I lick everything!

If you look close you can tell that I am licking my hand. The day I was born, my aunt Kris told my daddy that I had a long tongue. The joked about where I got it. (All of her kids had to have their tongues clipped the day they were born.) The day I was born I started licking everything you put near my mouth. Now, I lick everything like ice cream. Boy, oh boy, I can't wait to eat real ice cream! Today was the first time I was fussy at daycare. I think I just wanted to hang out with my mommy. Mommy told me that all she wanted to do today was come home and play with me. I guess we had mutual feelings. Today was also another first for me. Mommy put me in the BabyBjorn and walked with me on the treadmill. She got a pretty good work out considering I weigh almost 12 pounds. She walked a long time and put me right to sleep. I loved it, but man did it make both of us hot. Since this winter is never going away, I guess mommy will be doing this more often than just going to the gym. It is a little more difficult for her to get to the gym now, but she is still working hard and this is just another way I get to be close to my mommy. I just wanted to update you on how I was doing. Have a great weekend. By the way, mommy is going to be 30 next week. She is getting old. I guess my daddy already is old. Ha!

Read my shirt!

For those of you who read the blog, sorry it has taken so long to post. My mommy has been really busy with work, school, and taken care of me. My mommy went back to work last week so I went to daycare. Well, daycare with my cousin Sophie, Grandma Meyers, and Aunt Amy. My cousin Sophie will not let anybody else touch me at the daycare. She makes my daily schedule up for grandma and Amy. Mommy thinks it is pretty funny. I like daycare, but I miss hanging out with mommy all day long. She keeps telling me there is only 12 weeks until we go to the pool everyday. I can't wait. On Friday grandma Mauer took me to my 2 month check-up. Those nurses were so mean. They gave me 4 shots and made me drink one of them. I cried for a little while, but then I was okay. I weighed 11 pounds 8 oz and was 23 inches long. I am in the 50 percentile for height and weight, but my head is only in the 30 percentile. My grandma Mauer always says I have a small head. I guess I do. On Saturday night I had my first slumber party. I was the only one invited. I stayed at Grandma and Grandpa Meyers while mommy and daddy went out to celebrate mommy's birthday. Her birthday is not until the 11th, but they went out early. As my mommy writes this update, I am hanging with my daddy at my grandma and grandpas because mommy is supposed to be doing homework. (Finished early!) Hope all is well with everyone. I will try to remind mommy to keep up with the postings because I am growing up so fast and I change from day to day. Have a great week!

Last week with mommy

I am so sad because my mommy is going back to work next week. She is not looking forward to going back and leaving me at daycare. At least I get to stay with grandma, great-grandma, and Aunt Amy. I'm sure it will be fun, but I will miss hanging out all day and going to the mall with mommy. Mommy says there is only 13 weeks left of school when she goes back and then we will go to the swimming pool everyday. Yeah! I have been smiling a lot lately, mostly at daddy. I love my Baby Beluga music. I kick my feet and move my hands to the music. Mommy thinks I look so cute when I "dance" to the music. My aunt Cathy and cousin Jackson were in town last weekend. They were here for a short time, but we still had fun. Our house is starting to look more like a house. Mommy and daddy took grandma and grandpa to the house this weekend. They all had to wear bags on their feet because it is so muddy. It was pretty funny. The builders will be siding the house this week so mommy and daddy will probably take new pictures. I hope all is well with everyone. Talk to you soon.

5.5 weeks

So mommy and grandma took me to Sears today to have my pictures done. Mommy had to wake me up because I was sleeping so I was not very cooperative. In fact this is one of only a couple good pictures. After mommy left Sears she swore she could have probably got online to figure out how to get the pictures without spending so much money. Well, she spent the money and she figured out how to get the pictures. This is one of them. Don't I look so cute? Next time mommy knows not to spend so much money. Sorry Daddy! Hope all is well with everyone. Talk to you soon.
