Merry Christmas!

Christmas was a little different this year than in the past. On Christmas Eve we still went to Grandma and Grandpa Meyers thanks to Uncle Tony's truck. It started to snow earlier in the day and mommy knew that we would not make it home if we didn't take Tony's truck. After a wonderful dinner and family time, I got to open some presents. I got some new pj's and some other clothes. I can't wait to wear them. when we left grandma and grandpa's it was pretty bad outside. We went and picked uncle Tony up and ended up getting locked out of our house. Our garage door would not open due to low batteries and mommy and daddy did not have house keys. Again, thank God to uncle Tony for having some extra batteries and helping daddy get the garage code to work. We were able to stay at our house on Chrismas Eve. Santa came and left me lots of little toys and books. He also left me a huge thing of playdoh and a pipe to roll all of my cars down. I think the pipe was the biggest hit. Thanks Santa. Grandma and Grandpa Meyers tried to come get all of us to go to Aunt Amy's, but they could not get around McPherson. We were officially snowed in on Christmas. So instead of hanging out with family, eating lots of food, and playing with a bunch of new toys, I hung out with mommy and daddy. We went outside and played in the snow for about 5 minutes. I got to play with some new toys, eat lunch, took a nap with mommy, made cookies with daddy (as you can tell I was not the biggest help), watched some Mickey Mouse and Wonder Pets, played with more toys, and ate Quesadillas for dinner. This was not a typical Christmas, but I still had a lot of fun. Just another quick update on mommy and me. Mommy goes to the Dr on Wednesday for her 16 week appointment so hopefully we will find out whether I am going to have a brother or sister. I am sure I am going to have a sister! On Monday, my second birthday, I am scheduled to have another set of tubes put in my ears. For the past 10 weeks I have been battling some nasty junk and part of it could be due to the tubes. I guess we will see after Monday. Please keep us all in your prayers in the upcoming weeks. Merry Christmas to all and Happy Birthday to me on Monday! Talk to you soon.

Three Snow Days in a Row!!!!!

Well, tomorrow will be mommy's third day off in a row due to snow. I love hanging out with her. Today, daddy even stayed home and worked from home. I have taken a nap with mommy the last two days and plan to again tomorrow. I got to play in the snow for 5 minutes today. I probably would have played out there longer, but mommy made me come back in because it was way too cold. I also have had gourmet lunches everyday since we have been home. They have consisted of hot dogs, mac and cheese, and peanut butter and jelly. I even had pudding tonight. As you can see I ate it on my own. Mommy took my shirt off because she knew that I would get messy. What she did not know was that I would get it all over my pants also. I ended up taking a shower with my dad to get all the pudding off my body, including behind my ears. Besides the snow days, I finally feel better. I even went back to the Dr on Monday to see if I needed to have a second set of tubes put in. After 7 weeks of fluid, I am finally in the clear. As of now, I do not need another tube. Mommy said that as soon as the new year comes, I will probably need a new set and that would just be great timing, NOT! The only issue I have now is my bottom, or what I call my "bum" is a little raw. Mommy has been caking on the paste, but it doesn't seem to be working. I hope it feels better soon because I would like to be able to sit on my bum and not be in pain. Enough about me. I want to share a little about my new sibling that will arrive in June. Mommy went to the Dr. last week for her 12 week appointment. The Dr told mommy that she had a very active baby. Mommy figured she was going to have another baby just like me. Yippeee! The Dr tried really hard to see whether of not I was going to have a brother or sister, but the baby would not sit still. I guess mommy has to wait until her next appointment to find out. I think she thinks I am going to have a sister. I have tried to explain to her that I have told her from the beginning that I was having a sister, but she doesn't seem to believe me. I guess I will have to wait also. Hope all is well with everyone and keep praying that my mommy and the baby continue to be healthy.
