Merry Christmas!

Christmas was a little different this year than in the past. On Christmas Eve we still went to Grandma and Grandpa Meyers thanks to Uncle Tony's truck. It started to snow earlier in the day and mommy knew that we would not make it home if we didn't take Tony's truck. After a wonderful dinner and family time, I got to open some presents. I got some new pj's and some other clothes. I can't wait to wear them. when we left grandma and grandpa's it was pretty bad outside. We went and picked uncle Tony up and ended up getting locked out of our house. Our garage door would not open due to low batteries and mommy and daddy did not have house keys. Again, thank God to uncle Tony for having some extra batteries and helping daddy get the garage code to work. We were able to stay at our house on Chrismas Eve. Santa came and left me lots of little toys and books. He also left me a huge thing of playdoh and a pipe to roll all of my cars down. I think the pipe was the biggest hit. Thanks Santa. Grandma and Grandpa Meyers tried to come get all of us to go to Aunt Amy's, but they could not get around McPherson. We were officially snowed in on Christmas. So instead of hanging out with family, eating lots of food, and playing with a bunch of new toys, I hung out with mommy and daddy. We went outside and played in the snow for about 5 minutes. I got to play with some new toys, eat lunch, took a nap with mommy, made cookies with daddy (as you can tell I was not the biggest help), watched some Mickey Mouse and Wonder Pets, played with more toys, and ate Quesadillas for dinner. This was not a typical Christmas, but I still had a lot of fun. Just another quick update on mommy and me. Mommy goes to the Dr on Wednesday for her 16 week appointment so hopefully we will find out whether I am going to have a brother or sister. I am sure I am going to have a sister! On Monday, my second birthday, I am scheduled to have another set of tubes put in my ears. For the past 10 weeks I have been battling some nasty junk and part of it could be due to the tubes. I guess we will see after Monday. Please keep us all in your prayers in the upcoming weeks. Merry Christmas to all and Happy Birthday to me on Monday! Talk to you soon.

Three Snow Days in a Row!!!!!

Well, tomorrow will be mommy's third day off in a row due to snow. I love hanging out with her. Today, daddy even stayed home and worked from home. I have taken a nap with mommy the last two days and plan to again tomorrow. I got to play in the snow for 5 minutes today. I probably would have played out there longer, but mommy made me come back in because it was way too cold. I also have had gourmet lunches everyday since we have been home. They have consisted of hot dogs, mac and cheese, and peanut butter and jelly. I even had pudding tonight. As you can see I ate it on my own. Mommy took my shirt off because she knew that I would get messy. What she did not know was that I would get it all over my pants also. I ended up taking a shower with my dad to get all the pudding off my body, including behind my ears. Besides the snow days, I finally feel better. I even went back to the Dr on Monday to see if I needed to have a second set of tubes put in. After 7 weeks of fluid, I am finally in the clear. As of now, I do not need another tube. Mommy said that as soon as the new year comes, I will probably need a new set and that would just be great timing, NOT! The only issue I have now is my bottom, or what I call my "bum" is a little raw. Mommy has been caking on the paste, but it doesn't seem to be working. I hope it feels better soon because I would like to be able to sit on my bum and not be in pain. Enough about me. I want to share a little about my new sibling that will arrive in June. Mommy went to the Dr. last week for her 12 week appointment. The Dr told mommy that she had a very active baby. Mommy figured she was going to have another baby just like me. Yippeee! The Dr tried really hard to see whether of not I was going to have a brother or sister, but the baby would not sit still. I guess mommy has to wait until her next appointment to find out. I think she thinks I am going to have a sister. I have tried to explain to her that I have told her from the beginning that I was having a sister, but she doesn't seem to believe me. I guess I will have to wait also. Hope all is well with everyone and keep praying that my mommy and the baby continue to be healthy.

I have a new secret, but you have to read to find out!

Well, it has been awhile since my mom has posted. We have been busy and mommy has been so tired. Halloween this year was so fun. We started at my great grandparents, in which they offered me candy if I would take pictures. Of course, I took the pictures. Next, we went to grandma and papa Meyers. We trick or treated with my cousins, Hannah, Sophie, and Carly. It was fun, but we had to leave because we had to go to our neighbors, the Meiska's. Boy, their house was scary. They had all these boys dressed up and lots of people at their house. I can't wait for next year to go trick or treating with all the neighborhood boys. Last, we went home and I went to bed. Oh, after I threw up from coughing, I went to bed. I had not felt well for a couple of weeks so mommy took me to the Dr on Monday. I had a sinus infection, bad cough, and my tube is out, with fluid behind my ear. An antibiotic and cough syrup and I should feel better. This past weekend we had my cousin, Sophie's birthday party. She had an ice skating party and I actually got out on the ice. I did not like the skating part because the shoes were too big. My daddy carried me around on the ice and I seemed to like that. The next night we had cake and ice cream at Auntie Amy's and Uncle Josh's. I got to see the new kitty cat, Skittles, that Sophie got for her birthday. Mommy hopes that I never ask for a cat because she says I'm never going to get one. Someday, I will convince her I need and want one. Today, mommy took me back to the ear, nose, and throat Dr. My tube is tilted and I have fluid behind my ears. They put me on more medicine and I have to go back in 3 weeks. If there is still fluid, then we may have to do round two of tubes. Mommy says she hopes I'm better because for as little as those little black things are, they sure are expensive. I will keep you updated on my ears. Okay, you have all been waiting for me to tell you my secret. Here goes, I'm going to be a big brother in June. I keep telling mommy and daddy that I want a "baby sisssta." I guess only time will tell whether I get a baby sister or brother. I hope you keep my mommy and baby brother or sister in your prayers as they have a long road until the baby arrives. I guess that explains why my mommy has been so tired. Hope all is well with everyone! Talk to you soon.

Pumpkin Patch Adventure

Last weekend there was snow and this weekend we went to the Pumpkin Patch. My daddy was out of town last week in New York and when he returned on Friday we went to the Pumpkin Patch. It was a family adventure with my grandma, aunt Kimmie, Kris, mommy, daddy, and all of my girl cousins. I had so much fun. I got to feed the camels, goats, and some llamas. I was able to jump on some type of tent with my cousins, Hallie, Mallori, and Ellie. Thanks Ellie for taking me out there. My daddy took me through my first Haunted House and I didn't even get scared. I even tried to eat popcorn off the dirty ground, but mommy stopped me. I was kind of upset about that. I think I have convinced my parents to take me back to the Pumpkin Patch next weekend because I will not stop talking about it. As for other news, I am starting to talk so much it amazes mommy, daddy, and any other people I talk to. I can say big words like breakable (bwak a ble) and chemicals (chem i cals) and I really do know what they mean. On the way to Target this morning, as we approached the sign, I said "mommy, Tawget." Inside Target I said hi and bye to every person in the store. Of course everyone thought I was so cute in my hat, but mommy just wanted to hurry and get out of the store. She bought me some treats to eat in the cart so I would stop talking and just eat. Little did she know that I can eat and talk just like her! Daddy and Timmy ran in a race this morning at the zoo and then they worked on our upstairs bedroom. They got it trimmed and as we speak daddy is starting to paint. Next week the carpet will be here and then the furniture will come on Halloween. Mommy is getting excited to have another play area besides her living room. Once this is finished then the basement will have to follow. As for baby Kaison, I love him so much. Everytime I hear somebody say baby or a baby cries I say, "mommy, baby Kaison is crying." I guess I have a lot to learn about babies. I hope all is well with everyone!!!!

My new cousin, Kaison James Mauer has arrived!

My new cousin, Kaison James Phu Mauer was born on Tuesday, September 22, 2009. He weighed 8 lbs 3 oz and was 4 weeks early. Thu and Kaison are home and settling in. This past weekend was also Thu's baby shower that mommy and her sisters were hosting. My aunt Cathy and Jackson came back for. They not only got to be a part of the shower, but also got to meet little Kaison. I have also met him, but don't really care. I would rather play with their two dogs. I don't think I even really noticed that little guy laying on his boppy pillow. Maybe when Kaison gets a little older I will be able to play with him and teach him how to be naughty for his parents. My allergies are driving me crazy. I have had a runny nose and a bit of a cough the last couple of days. I am still taking Singular and Zyrtec, hoping that will take care of the problems, but it does not seem to be helping. Hopefully this winter I will be better than last winter. My daddy is having Sinus Surgery on Thursday so keep him in your thoughts and prayers. I hope all is well with everyone! Talk to you soon.

My new bike!

My mommy and daddy got me a new bike. It is called a balance bike. The bike does not have peddles nor will it ever have peddles. I have already learned to move my legs and "walk" on the bike as I ride it. My daddy found this bike and it is amazing. Once I figure out how to get going fast I can pick up my feet and coast. Eventually the key is that if I can ride this bike I will be able to get on any bike with peddles and go without training wheels. I guess time will tell. Besides my new bike, I also got a helmet. I love to wear it around the house. The picture of me in my helmet looks just like my uncle Brian's baby pictures. Mommy loves this picture. On Saturday we were grilling out for family and friends and what do you know the hot air balloons went over our house. Well, all but one. That particular one had to land in our backyard and have all the guys help get it taken down and loaded in the truck. It was so cool to see a hot air balloon in my backyard. My allergies have flared up again. I am now taking a daily dose of Singular and now Zyrtec. Ugg, I can't wait for it to freeze. Hopefully then my allergies will go away. Today my cousin Carly and I got our flu shots. We both screamed, but I think I screamed louder. I HATE SHOTS!!!!! Everyday I am learning new words. Mommy listened to me talk to cheerios in the car on the way to grandma's house last week. I was saying "Hi cheerios, Hi cheerios!" Mommy was laughing. I also love to say "Hello, bye, papa, grandma, my daddy, and any other word I can repeat, even words my mommy and daddy don't want me to repeat, "uck me." This past Saturday, I also went to my new Move and Groove class. I of course had a blast because I got to run all over. The space is pretty small, but I loved it and can't wait for Saturday to do it again. I take the class with Cali Bach. Funny thing is when we were on our way we argued about "Timmy, my daddy." "No, Timmy is my daddy." I think I get a little confused about Timmy. I know who my daddy is, but I love Timmy and I love to say his name----"Timmmmy, Timmmmy." Next week my aunt Cathy and cousin Jackson are coming back for Thu's baby shower. I'm sure I may have a baby cousin by then, but who knows. Kaison James Mauer weighs 7 lbs and Thu is 35 weeks this week. My aunt Katie is also pregnant for those of you who do not know. She is about 15 weeks and all is going good. Keep praying for all my pregnant aunts and for my mom's friend, Barbie. They all need extra prayers!!! Hope all is well with everyone. Talk to you soon.

Playing outside!

This past weekend I went out to Kathy and Mick's house and played with Zoie. I loved Zoie and also saying her name. I got to play on uncle Mick's tractors and run all over outside. I loved it and am still saying "Hi Mick and Hi Zoie." My new words are "memote (remote), Mama, I pooped, outside, walk, and old. Basically I repeat everything my parents say so they have to start watching the language they use around me because otherwise they may hear me say something that is inappropriate. Mommy has been back at work for 4 weeks now and she says she is very stressed. I guess she has a lot of "change" going on and we all know that my mom does not like change. I hope school gets better for her. Daddy has still been traveling a lot lately, which allows for mommy and I to spend lots of time together. I love when she tickles me and plays with me when she gets home from work. We have so much fun. I wish daddy didn't have to travel, but mommy says "at least he has a job," unlike a lot of people in the world right now. Daddy is getting ready to have a sinus surgery on October 1st so hopefully all will go well. Pray for daddy and a speedy recovery. Tonight I actually wanted to call Papa to tell him good night. Mommy said I had to call daddy and then we could call Papa. I left a message on grandma Meyers' phone for grandma and papa. I sure hope they get it. I love hanging out with them everyday. My grandparents are so great----all of them! I hope all is well with everyone and I will talk to you soon.
P.S.
Baby Kaison Mauer is holding strong and weighs 5 pounds 2 oz at 33 weeks. Thu has started going two days a week to monitor her and baby Kaison. Who knows, maybe he will be here before we hold her shower in September. I can't wait to meet him.

I love corn!

Thanks to Erin, mommy's friend, I got to eat corn on the cob for the first time tonight. Of course it really was not on the cob when I ate it, but mommy scraped the corn off and I ate it. It was so good. As you can tell by the pictures I husked it and then mommy told me she was going to cook it so I opened the microwave and tried to cook it. However, all the husk was not off and mommy freaked out. She says she has bad memories of grandma Mauer making her husk corn and finding bugs all over. This particular corn did not have any bugs so mommy forgave me. After mommy boiled it, which if you do not know it takes 7 minutes, we had some yummy corn on the cob. Another first today was the big scrape on my face. I was playing at grandma Meyers' and oops fell down and hit my face. When mommy picked me up today I was also in my third outfit for the day. I decided to climb in the pool before grandma or grandpa could get me changed. I just wanted to play in the water, so I did. As you can see I try to keep everyone on their toes around me. As daddy stated, "Drew wants to make an appearance and never wants anyone to forget him." I think my daddy is correct. I love everyone, play hard, and want everyone to remember me for the busy child that I am. Hope all is well with everyone and I will talk to you soon.

Summer is officially over!

Summer is over and mommy headed back to work today. She was very sad to leave me at Grandma Meyers', but yet excited to get back to a routine. I am sad because I do not get to hang out with mommy everyday, but I guess grandma is ready to play with me. This past weekend we had a sleepover at my house and then at my cousins house. On Friday night, Hannah, Sophie, and baby Carly stayed the night with us. It was so fun. I tried to pick on Carly a little bit. Infact mommy got to see what I would be like as a big brother some day and boy are my siblings in for a rude awakening. On Saturday we went to Aunt Amy and Uncle Josh's house to play in the lake. Mommy and daddy let me get in the lake, but I was not allowed to go under the water because of my tubes. We also got to go for a boat ride. Mommy and daddy had three different parties to attend on Saturday so I got to stay at my cousins' house. It was so fun. I even got to snuggle with Aunt Amy for some of the night because of course I am still not sleeping through the night and just want to cuddle with somebody. Thanks Aunt Amy for being kind and letting me sleeping with you and not making me cry like mommy and daddy. I am still a very busy little guy. I like to climb, especially at the park, like the picture above. I love to play outside whenever possible. I am really into catching bugs and frogs and playing with them. I even had a bee on me at the pool last week and I tried to pet it, but mommy was quick to flick it off me so I didn't get stung. Thank God! I am hoping one day my mommy and daddy will let me keep some of the creatures I capture as a pet, like my nice neighbors the Bach's. They have a pet snake and plenty of our frogs! Mommy and daddy say they are not allowed to come and get anymore of our frogs. NO MORE as daddy and I would say! I hope all is well with everyone and pray that my parents are nice enough in the near future to give me a pet that I capture outside our house.

Summer Vacations

Sorry it has been so long since my mommy posted, but we have been busy. We went to the Ozarks with the Pelletts and I got to go fishing for the first time with my daddy. It lasted about 2 minutes and I was "all done." I was kind of crazy while I was there. I picked on Brody a little too much. Next stop, we went to Texas for a week and a half to see Cathy, Scott, Jackson, and Colin. It was very hot and humid in Texas. I loved the golf cart rides, running with the family, playing with all 3 of the dogs, and of couse swimming. Mommy and I got a little sick while we were there. Mommy spent a day in the ER for a UTI and I ended up at the Dr's office for a really bad bronchial upper respitory infection. They put me back on Singular, a steroid, and an antibiotic and I was cured. $220 later mommy and I feel better. Thank God daddy is healthy. Besides our vacations we have been pretty busy. Mommy and I usually go for a run in the morning. She even lets me wear my pj's and eat my breakfast on the run. I love it. Then we usually get ready for the day and go to grandma's house to play with all the other kiddos. Next, naptime and then pool. I love going to the pool with my cousins, but I am always the only boy (as you can see in the picture). The baby pool opened at Cabana the day before we left for Houston and boy was mommy happy to see that. Mommy usually spends a lot of time chasing me around the pool, but now that I am locked in the baby pool area she doesn't have to run as much. Besides running around the pool, I am climbing on everything. My new thing is to jump from my coffee table to the couch, even when nobody is watching. I still climb up the outside railings of my stairs. Mommy is so surprised that I have not climbed out of my crib yet. Just waiting for the perfect time to catch my parents off guard and then I am going to climb out and take off! Mommy had to go to training for work today for 3 hours and tomorrow for 3 hours and I already miss her. I think both mommy and I have been attached at the hip all summer and her going back to work is going to be very difficult on both of us. We only have this week and next so we better start adjusting. I hope all is well with everyone. I hope this new post gives people to read while they are at work. Ha!

Walk! What does that mean?

By looking at the pictures you can see we have been very busy. We spend time hanging out in the house when it is really hot or going to the pool. Mommy loves and hates taking me to the pool. I don't understand that you have to walk and that I can't dive into the pool. I don't really like the water this year as much as last unless there is nobody around, then I will dive right in. We have been to the pool 4 times and I have fallen in 2 times. Mommy gets really worried about the ears since she does not follow the Dr's orders by putting in my ear plugs. She will learn one of these days when I have stuff draining from my ears from getting them wet. Not only do I like to hang out outside, I also love to climb. As you can see there is not much of a window seal, but boy can I climb up there and wait for my daddy to come home. Sometimes I wait for a long time since daddy has been traveling to California so much. Last week I had to go to the Dr for my bottom. Mommy was really concerned and thank goodness she took me in. I had strep but and got put on an antibiotic for 10 days. Hopefully by the end of the week all will be good. Last weekend mommy went on her annual girls trip to the Ozarks with 9 other girls. Mommy said it was fun, but I was a wreck. I ran a fever and was miserable for daddy. When mommy came home she found me with a black eye from running into a table at Aunt Amy's house. As the days go by the eye looks much better. Since mommy's return I have had a hard time going to bed. I think that they are going to leave me and never come back. I promise I will figure out the bedtime routine again soon. Mommy hopes by this weekend since we are taking a family trip to Okoboji with the Pellett's. I can't wait to go fishing. My daddy bought me a Spider Man fishing pole. We are going to catch a big fish. I'm sure if I do catch a big fish my mommy will post the picture. Last week we also found out that my Aunt Thu and Uncle Brian are going to have a baby boy. This week we had some good news about another pregnancy, but it is not mommy's place to share. No, I am not going to be a big brother, but I sure do like babies. Maybe someday I will have a brother or sister, but not right now. I hope all is well with everyone and I will talk to you soon.

I love Summer!

Well we have been very busy the last week. My aunt, Cathy, and cousin, Jackson came into town on Memorial Day weekend and we had a blast. Okay, there was once incident that was not fun. I was in and out of my g-ma and g-pa Mauer's bedroom one morning so that I could turn on their bathtub and take off running. My mommy always followed me and turned off the water and tried to tell me to stop. Well, one time I ran in the room only to lock myself in their room. Luckily I did not turn on the water because my mommy and aunt Cathy would have had to break down the room. After 45 minutes of being locked in the bedroom I finally got out. As you can see above I do not have a shirt on. That is because once I got out, mommy had to strip my shirt off because it was soaked from all the tears. Mommy was so sad also. She kept me occupied by sticking her fingers under the door, but I think she was so frightened, just like me. Thanks mommy and daddy for rescuing me. Sorry that never taught me a lesson. I still like to close the closet doors at my house and hang out in there. Thank God they do not lock. As for new tricks, I climb everywhere. I get on the couch and run back and fourth. I climb on the bar stools and try to get up on the island to get snacks, but most of the time mommy or daddy stops me before I can get all the way up. Mommy can't even leave me alone when she goes the bathroom because she knows I will be doing something I shouldn't be doing when she gets done. I have also learned to flush the toilet. I was very upset all day when mommy flushed a bug down the toilet. I still mention it occasionally "bug, bug" when I see the toilet. It drives mommy crazy and she tries to explain to me that the bug got flushed and went bye bye. I guess I just don't accept that. I also got to play with some frogs this past weekend at my first sleep over. Hallie Kate stayed the night with me and she got to sleep with mommy and daddy. I got to come in their room at 5 am and that is when I started pulling Hallie's hair to wake up. Mommy yelled at me and told me I had to wait to wake her up. I did the same thing at 7 and woke Hallie up. Poor Hallie! As you can see we have been very busy. I hope all is well with everyone. Talk to you soon.

4 more days!!!!!

4 More days until mommy is done for the summer. I guess that means we are going to go to the pool everyday for the next 12 weeks. YEAH! Besides the pool mommy is going to the Ozarks with the girls and we are going to Okoboji and to Texas as a family. Mommy and I will be in Texas for almost 2 weeks and daddy will be there for a week. I am so excited to hang out with my mommy all day everyday. Grandma and Grandpa are getting ready to close the daycare this week. I will miss hanging out with all the other kids, but my girlfriend, Cali, and Ryan Bach will be at Grandma's house with me in the fall. Carly, Hannah, and Sophie will also be there so I am excited about that. As for new things, I am talking a lot more. My favorite words are stuck, clock, snack, milk, and I am picking up new words daily. As you can see in the picture, I am getting big. I look more like a little boy instead of a baby now and it makes mommy think I am growing up too fast. I guess that means they should think about having a brother or sister for me to play with. Come on mom and dad, PLEASE! As for babies, Brian and Thu are about 18 weeks now, but the little one didn't want to cooperate and therefore we still don't know if I am going to have a girl or boy cousin. Maybe next month we will find out. As for sleeping in my own bed, I have officially mastered that. I still wake up very early, but mommy lets me sleep for the last hour or so with her and I guess that is good enough for me. I am also very snuggly right now. I have learned to give the biggest hugs ever. I wrap my arms around whoever I am hugging very tight and give them a bear hug. I also give very good kisses now. My last big change is now I miss my mommy and daddy when they live me. I go to the door at daycare and say mama, but she doesn't always come to the door. However, when mommy comes to pick me up I think she thinks she is special because I am saying, mama, mama. I don't think she understands that I have missed her all day long. I can't wait for 4 more days. I hope all is well with everyone. I get to see my cousin Jackson and Aunt Cathy this weekend. Hope everyone has a great week and weekend.

My two favorite things, pizza and playing outside!

My mommy is so sorry that it has been so long since she has updated, but it has been very busy around here. Mommy had spring break and we hung out together for a whole week. It was awesome! I can't wait for the summer to hang out with mommy all day everyday. She says we are going to go to the pool everyday so if anyone wants to join us, please do. As you can see from the pictures I love pizza and playing outside. I am hanging with my uncle Tony in the picture. It appears that we have the same hat on, but I don't think mine is a Broncos hat, sorry uncle Tony! That same day I not only got to play with Tony, but I got to hang out with Max, their dog. I love Max. He likes to lick me, but I don't seem to care! As for pizza, I love it! If you look close you can see a piece of pepperoni in my shirt. Pepperoni is my favorite kind of pizza, just like my mom. Besides all the new words I am learning, I have now learned how to climb on EVERYTHING! The other day, mommy came out of the bathroom to a very quiet little boy so she knew something was up. She came around the corner and I was sitting on the island in the kitchen drinking my water. She didn't understand that I was thirsty and I could use the chair to get up there, so I did. I don't understand why she was so worried! I have also learned to pull every toy over to the couch and climb up there and then occasionally fall off. Yesterday, daddy told mommy that I was lifting up the coffee table trying to tip it over. I couldn't get it tipped over all the way but I was able to rock it. Oh, I love learning new things daily. I hope all is well with everyone and I will talk to you soon.

Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter to everyone. Thanks for the glasses Uncle Ron, Aunt Mary, Kara, and Katie. They fit me perfect! The Easter bunny was good to me. He brought me a new car to play with, a couple of bath toys, and my favorite, M&M's! After I ate bananas and chocolate chip cookies for breakfast (yes, my parents let me eat chocolate chip cookies for breakfast!), I went to g-ma and g-pa Meyers' house to hang out with the family. I ate lots of good food, including yummy banana bread. After brunch we went out on an Easter egg hung. It was awesome. I found lots of eggs that had goldfish in them. I loved eating the goldfish off the dirt, which means I ate some dirt. Thanks to the Easter bunny at g-ma and g-pa Meyers I received a new outfit and candy. Thank you!!! Next, we went home and took a nap and then off to g-ma and g-pa Mauer's. We hung out with the family, but as you can see I was a little disappointed at their Easter egg hunt. I kept biting the eggs open and to my surprise there was NOTHING in them. I don't get it! I opened about 10 with my mouth and still nothing. G-pa Mauer promised that next year there would be something in them. I hope everyone had a great Easter and that the bunny was good to them. He was great to me! Talk to you soon.

My girlfriend took me for my first car ride!

Last weekend I went down and played with my girlfriend, Cali Bach. She is so fun, has lots of cool toys, a swing set, and even two dogs for me to pet and chase around. I think I like the dogs the best. As you can see, Cali also gave me a ride in her Barbie car. It was a very bumpy ride with lots of good music. As you can see in the second picture I love to play outside, even if I am just picking up grass or rolling around in it. I went to the Dr. today for my 15 month check. Boy, I hated it! As soon as nurse Carla made me get on the scale, I screamed bloody murder. I have had some bad experiences at that office and I'm not sure I will ever like going up there again. I didn't mind Dr. Jones because he was nice to me. He just checked me over, but man that second nurse that came in was MEAN! The nurse told mommy that she never has this many problems trying to give shots to kids. I guess she has never met me! Mommy tried to remind her that it took 2 nurses to pin me down at the hospital after surgery. She was in for it. I turned bright red and got my 3 shots, one in my leg and one in each arm. UGG, they hurt! I am healthy even though I sound like I have a really bad cold. I weigh 25 lbs and 12 oz (80th percentile). I dropped down in height from 75th percentile to 60th percentile and of course my head is still only in the 30th percentile. Mommy and daddy are trying to do what they call "hell week" again. That means they are trying to keep me in my bed all night long. When are they going to get it? I plan on sleeping with them until I move out! Mommy and daddy says they love me very much, but they are tired of sharing a bed with me. I guess they probably didn't like waking up to pee all over their sheets the other morning. Oops! Maybe they should get me the bigger diapers or not give me so much milk before I go to bed. I am blaming them! Hope all is well with everyone. Talk to you soon!

I love this weather!

It has been awhile since we have
written, but we have been busy. The weather has been so nice. Mommy has been taking me for a run outside almost everyday. I love it. I would much rather be running around on my own, but I guess I understand she is trying to get in shape. These picture are of me in the backyard while daddy and mommy were grilling. I was supposed to be on the concrete but I managed to step off and not listen to my parents. The picture on the left is of me showing everyone that I am one years old. I continue to make my parents chase me. I can only imagine how tired everyone is that takes care of me because I have been sleeping really well at night because I am wiped by the end of the day. Now, if I could learn to sleep in my own bed all night, that would be fantastic for mommy and daddy. One new thing I have learned is how to throw a tantrum. Mommy gets frustrated, but I just continue to do it. I like to lay on the floor and scream until I get what I want. However, lately I'm not getting what I want. My parents are mean and make me cry it out. The only other new thing is that I now have 10 teeth, mommy thinks. I had 6 come in at once, 3 which were molars. I am cutting another molar, which means I have been a bear, but I promise all the teeth cutting will stop at some point. I hope all is well with everyone. Talk to you soon.

Always on my best behavior! NOT!

Sorry I didn't blog last week. Mommy hit a deer on her way home from dinner and therefore we had to take care of the car details last week. I am officially naughty! Okay, I guess I am just all boy! As you can see with the one picture I get into everything. I try to get in the cabinet and shut it, but I just can't fit. I get everything in, but my hands. I'm not even scared of the dark. As for the other picture I am eating noodles, but really, I'm throwing them on the floor so I can watch mommy pick them all up. As she is down there picking up, I throw more food at her. I think it is funny, but for some reason mommy does not. I have also learned a couple new tricks. I like to sneak through the gate when mommy and daddy are not looking and then laugh at them when I get up the stairs. I climb on the outside of the stairs (tile side) and hold on to the spindles. I have got as high as the 6th stair before somebody spanked me or tried to put me in time out. Mommy and daddy went to buy a "naughty" chair, but they couldn't find one. Grandpa Meyers gave mommy and daddy an old chair that is going to be designated the "naughty" chair. However, I think it is a fun chair to play and sit in. I guess my parents still have a lot to learn about the monkey they gave birth to. Today I came home with my first black eye. I ran into the table at daycare and now I have a black eye, well maybe black tomorrow, just read right now. I am cutting 5 teeth right now so it has been a rough couple of nights. Mommy and daddy try to get me to stay in my own bed, but I don't like that after 1:30 AM. Keep your fingers crossed for mommy and daddy so they can keep me in my own bed. Yeah right!!!!! I hope all is well with everyone. Talk to you soon.
